PJA was built on our reputation for understanding the transport implications of development and finding solutions to enable development to proceed.

Over the past 17 years we have attracted a multi-disciplinary team of transport planners, highway engineers and urban designers to bring both strength and breadth to our services.  We have transport planning expertise in each of our local offices, but project teams are often drawn from resources across the UK in order to provide the very best skills to suit the project requirements.

Our transport planning team can provide support from the early due diligence and feasibility stages of a project, through the Transport Assessment process and planning application stage.  Preliminary and detailed highway design is also provided by our fully integrated Engineering team, both on-site and off-site, including S38 and S278 packages.  We are also experienced at negotiating with highway authorities and providing Expert Witnesses services at appeal.

The senior team at PJA are recognised experts in the Transport Planning industry, with our Chairman Phil Jones often leading or inputting to new and emerging guidance and national and local levels.
